Strategy is at the heart of human interaction
Dictionary.com defines "strategy" as "a plan, method, or series of maneuvers or stratagems for obtaining a specific goal or result: a strategy for getting ahead in the world."
At Lazarus Strategic Communications, we see strategy in just about every successful human interaction, particularly in business relationships. If communication was simply about speaking your piece, wouldn't that be easy, once we had the required self-confidence to do that?
But telling others what you think is only the tip of the iceberg. The rest is knowing your audience, learning how to approach them, relate to them, and ultimately gain their trust. As famed Boston Celtics Coach Red Auerbach reminded us, "It's not what you say; it's what they hear."
Modern communications may be able to draw upon a range of new technologies, all of which can be extraordinarily useful. But in the end, effective, productive communication requires skilled human persuasion and a shrewd strategic plan. Always has, always will. That's where we can help you.
